The experimental validation platform, affiliated to the IMI, possesses advanced facilities for the research in cellular biology, biochemistry & molecular biology, and microbiology, on which the experimental analyses of genomics, transcriptomics, and preliminary-stage proteomics can be performed. This platform specifically focuses on experimentally validating computational results generated from large-scale AI bioinformatics, with particular emphasis on identifying potential interactive mechanisms and regulatory functions between transcriptional factor candidates and target genes. Moreover, the potential protein-protein interactions and protein-compound bindings are also involved. By this platform, the validated interactions are designated to facilitate drug discoveries, to provide important information for novel therapeutic strategies against focused diseases, and to promote the development of corresponding translational medicine.
