The Intelligent Pharmacy R&D Center is established under the auspices of the Fudan University Institute of Intelligent Medicine (in preparation). The Center focuses on intelligent pharmacy technologies, pioneering new pathways beyond traditional drug discovery paradigms. It is dedicated to addressing major core scientific challenges such as AI-assisted innovative drug development and protein design. By leveraging real-world big data, artificial intelligence, deep learning technologies, and knowledge graph mining, the Center conducts research in areas including protein structure analysis, drug design, and disease pharmacotherapy. It aims to establish an intelligent pharmacy research framework and develop AI-driven methodologies applicable to the early stages of drug discovery. These efforts are applied to novel drug target identification and the development of both small-molecule chemical drugs and large-molecule biologics. The Center is committed to creating a complete closed-loop pipeline, spanning from fundamental research to clinical translation, and from novel target discovery to new drug development.

The Center will fully harness the innovative potential of the university to explore new directions and pioneer new pathways. It will further enhance the national and international influence of Fudan University in the biomedical field, striving to become an academic hub that attracts top global scientists and promotes the integrated development of China's biomedical industry.
