Intelligent Medicine Institute, Fudan University
Established in June 2022, theIntelligent Medicine Institute (IMI)is a new research institute of Fudan University. The institute is in the campus of Shanghai Medical College, which is in the heart of metropolitan area of Shanghai with many prestigious hospitals nearby. The institute integrates the first-class disciplines of Fudan University, focusing on multi-disciplinary research between biomedicine and information technology and provides state-of-art research facilities including high performance computing platforms, shared clinical research data networks, omics data analyses platforms, VR/AR/MR labs.The institute hasposition openingsin the following research centers：Health Big Data Research Center, Intelligent Pharmaceutical Research Center, Intelligent Medical Imaging Research Center, Metaverse Medicine Research Center, Biomedical Knowledge Graph Research Center, Biomedical Algorithm and Modeling Research Center.
Principal Investigator Positions
Talented individuals with a passion for clinical Informatics, AI in health sciences, real world data analytics, AI for drug discovery, precision medicine, and so on, especially those with interdisciplinary backgrounds, are encouraged to apply. Individuals are required to independently produce original and internationally recognized research in their corresponding fields, showing promise to make additional breakthroughs and taking the lead in future research directions. The applicants should have a doctoral degree in medicine, or life sciences, or computer sciences, or mathematics, or physics, or informatics, and have at least three-years of relevant postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
As an eligible candidate for professorship, you should have:
1. PhD and or an MD degree and hold a position at assistant professor level or above, or equivalent position.
2. High-profiled publications as corresponding author.
3. Strong record of external funding.
As a candidate for junior faculty position, you should have:
1. PhD/MD ( PhD and or an MD) degree with postdoctoral experience.
2. Good publication record.
