Dr. Li Xuan's "Bioinformatics and Synthetic Epibiology" research group focuses on two major issues in life sciences, using molecular biology experimental techniques, functional genomics/functional transcriptomics and other omics technologies, combined with bioinformatics methods and biological big data computing, and carry out research in the following directions:

(1) RNA epibiology: phylogenetic evolution of RNA epigenetic mechanisms, and synthetic biology of RNA epigenetic modification.

(2) Natural product metabolism: Aiming at the functional research of natural products and secondary metabolites of medicinal plants, integrating metabolome, characterization group, and functional network modeling methods.
